DCR is home to the UK’s largest selection of drain inspection cameras for hire. Our range of pushrod and crawler cameras are capable of surveying pipes as small as 50mm and as large as 2200mm, and can carry out inspections of up to 500 metres in a single run!
Hire equipment can also be delivered throughout mainland UK on a next-working-day basis. Alternatively, customers can collect equipment from one of 10 hire hubs in locations including London, Birmingham, Manchester, and more!
With a dedicated in-house team of technicians and engineers, all of DCR’s hire equipment is thoroughly maintained for the utmost reliability.

Q: Do you deliver?
A: Yes! All of our drain cameras can be delivered anywhere throughout mainland UK.
Q: Where can we collect drain cameras from?
A: Customers can collect our drain cameras from 10 different locations throughout the UK, including spots in London, Manchester and Birmingham. You can find out more about our hire collection points here.
Q: How do I return equipment to you?
A: Our courier can collect hire equipment and return it to us. Alternatively, you can return the equipment to our head office or one of several hire drop-off points.
Q: What diameter of pipe can your cameras survey?
A: Our range of cameras can survey pipes with diameters as small as 50mm and as large as 2200mm.
Q: Do you have specialist systems?
A: Yes. We ATEX-approved inspection systems, as well as systems dedicated to surveying fresh-water infrastructure only.
Q: Do you need a power source for your systems?
A: Our pushrod systems are powered by internal batteries and all are supplied with both a mains and car charger. Crawler systems, however, either need to be near a power source, such as a mains supply or a van with an inverter. If you need to use a crawler system and do not have access to a power source, you will need to hire a battery separately.
Q: Do you charge late fees?
A: No! We never charge late fees. We understand that jobs can sometimes take longer than anticipated so, if you need equipment for longer, you’ll only pay for the additional days – we won’t add any fees on top!
Q: Do you charge cancellation fees?
A: Provided you cancel your order before your item is shipped, you won’t be charged any cancellation fees.
